This Protected Property is a wet meadow wildlife habitat. The vegetation within the area is indicative of wetlands and include: Scirpus, and reed canary grass. The eastern side of the field is also wetland and contiguous to Long Pond, which contains some wetland shrubs such as winterberry and arrowwood. The border also contains a wet meadow area of blue-flag iris, asters, lance-leaved goldenrod, and reeds. This property also contains an osprey nest pole, and storage sheds for fishing gear.
