Sakonnet Preservation Association is governed by a 19 member Board of Directors.  Our Board is an engaged and hard-working group representing the Little Compton Community.  Holly Lippert serves as our part-time Administrative Assistant.

As of Feb. 2011, SPA has been awarded accreditation with the national Land Trust Accreditation Commission! (www.landtrustaccreditation.org).  We are the second land trust in Rhode Island to receive such recognition and the only organization of our size in the country to achieve this honor. – Abigail Brooks
